Installation Instructions

  1. Click the download button above to download the installer
  2. Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder)
  3. Double-click ScribeLocal_Setup.exe to run the installer
  4. Follow the installation wizard instructions
  5. Once installed, launch ScribeLocal from your Start menu or desktop shortcut. It may take ~20 seconds to load the app.
  6. Your 7-day free trial will begin automatically

System Requirements

  • • Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
  • • 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended)
  • • Sufficient disk space for audio files and transcripts
  • • No internet connection required for transcription

After Installation

Once you've installed and launched ScribeLocal:

  1. Drag and drop your audio files into the app
  2. Select your preferred settings (language, speaker diarization, etc.)
  3. Click "Transcribe" and wait for processing
  4. Export your transcript in your preferred format
